At The Spot, we’re here to make a difference. That’s why taking care of our team, our guests and our community is at the heart of all we do. And when it comes to our local communities, we want to raise the bar for giving back. Our team donates time, energy and efforts to charitable organizations, nonprofits and community events throughout the year. We also host FUN-Raiser Days to raise awareness and donations for local schools and education-related organizations.
Ready to bring on the fun? We’re here to help. Through our FUN-Raiser Days, The Spot donates 20% of event sales to benefit local schools and educational nonprofits. Find out more about what organizations qualify, how donations are distributed and what the event includes below.
Who qualifies for a FUN-Raiser Day? Nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting youth and/or education with a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt number that is recognized by the government as a nonprofit or authorized group. For more information about 501(c)(3), visit the IRS website.
A FUN-Raiser Day is a chance for The Spot to give back to the community by donating to a local educational nonprofit organization or school. Your organization is responsible for promoting the event. We will provide you with 50 flyers for distribution, along with a marketing kit including a flyer and social media template. We will donate 20% of each sale when your flyer is presented to a server or cashier on your dedicated FUN-Raiser Day (up to $500 total).
When & Where
FUN-Raisers can be hosted at our Galveston or League City locations on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the year on a first come, first served basis.
