Hobby Airport Gets Another Tex-Mex Spot, Along with New Local Dining Options

If there’s a silver lining to all of this, the restaurant lineup at Hobby feels a touch more diverse than what was previously there. Where there was once only Pappas eateries, the current ensemble includes places from both inside and outside the Loop.  

Fat Cat Creamery and Hubcap Grill are both local standouts, while The Spot hails all the way from Galveston. A few more local restaurants will eventually land there, including Killen’s Barbecue, Common Bond, Spindletap Brewery, Pink’s Pizza and Dish Society. 

As far as demos go, the array of restaurants is certainly a “slice” of what Houston (and Texas) has to offer.
